IR Explainer app for iPhone and iPad

IR Explainer is a user-friendly and versatile App for investigating compound chemical structures using Infrared spectroscopy. It contains database to support most common functional groups in organic chemistry.
There are three functions embedded in this App -
• Identify functional group with inputted the absorption peak wave number (cm-1)
• Display covalent bond types with corresponding absorption peak properties
• List covalent bond type vs absorption peak in table format
This App is designed for professionals in chemistry to quickly identify unknown composition, confirm the authenticity of investigated materials, or study interaction among different materials.
